The impacts of the increasing toughness of ethylene propylene rubber(EPR)on the ternary blend containings of EPR polypropylene(PP)and high density Polyethylene(HDPE)are described in this paper and also the influence of the blending time on the mechanical performance is discussed.The results of testing indicate that the impact strength of the freely supported beam is 5 times of PP.
