绵阳黄鸭是新近发现的待定名地方品种,该鸭生长速度快,45日龄1.5kg,肉质与野鸭媲美,饲料转化效率高,平均为2.2～2.4∶1,种鸭产蛋性好,年产蛋250～280枚,抗病力强,经四川省科技情报所查新表明,该鸭在国内尚未见报道,是一种极具发展潜力的新鸭种。
