大学英语课堂教学法初探

On Classroom Teaching of College English

语言教学的目的是使学生能使用目标语进行交际。从三方面阐述了新的大学英语课堂教学法。学生中心教学模式包括小组讨论式、教师提问式及课前的自由交谈等。用英语授课可以形成学生“习得”英语的良好环境。而语篇水平上的阅读理解教学应注意文中信息本身，以阅读理解为中心加以组织。新的大学英语课堂教学法有利于培养和提高学生学习外语的能力，符合素质教育深入发展的要求。

The purpose of language teaching is to enable students to communicate in the target language. Based on College English teaching practice, this paper discusses new classroom teaching method of College English from three aspects. Student-centred method includes 'group work, problem solving and free talk' etc. Teaching in English may help create a necessary atmosphere for students' acquisition. The teaching of reading comprehension on text level should focus on the information and comprehension of the material. The new College English teaching method helps cultivate and improve the students' ability in learning foreign language and meet the needs of 'qualities education'.
