摘要
目的 :推测骨性关节炎和骨质疏松间可能存在的负性联系。方法 :6 8例老年女性患者分为膝关节炎 (OA)组 ,疏松性骨折组 (OP)和老年对照组。测量所有受试者的身高、体重、体重指数及髋部的骨密度。血清IGF Ⅰ的浓度采用放免法测定。结果 :OP组的体重 ,体重指数和骨密度均低于对照组 (P <0 .0 1) ;而OA组和对照组之间在上述 3个指标无统计意义上的差别 (P <0 .0 5 )。血清中IGF Ⅰ含量在OA组中最高 ,对照组中次之 ,OP组中含量最低 ,3组之间均有显著性差异 (P <0 .0 1)。血清IGF Ⅰ浓度和骨密度、体重指数间有正性相关。结论 :本项研究支持OA和OP是两类不同性质的疾病 ,二者之间存在着负性相关。
Objective:To investigate the possible relationship between the knee osteoarthritis and the osteoporotic fractures through the measurement of anthropometrity, hip bone mineral density(BMD) and the serum levels of insulin growth factor(IGF Ⅰ) concentrations. Methods: Overall 68 female outpatients received this survey, which were classified into three groups in view of their disease. OA Group: 29 cases, mean age 63.7 years old. OP Group: including 28 cases, mean age 65.3 years old. Control Group: 11 cases, mean age 61.0 years old. All the subjects had anthropometric measurement including weight and height during the first view. Body mass index was calculated from the formula BMI=W/H 2. Hip bone mineral density was measured using dual energy x ray absorbtiometry (DEXA) and serum concentrations of insulin like growth factor Ⅰ (IGF Ⅰ) using RIA. Independent t test was used to examine the difference among OA, OP and Control group. Linear regression was used to analyze the association between IGF Ⅰ and any other factors. Results: Both OA group and Control group had greater weight, BMI, hip bone mineral density and serum concentrations of IGF Ⅰ than OP group,( P <0.01=no difference was found beween OA and Control group except serum IGF Ⅰ ( P >0.05). Although the mean ages of Control group were minor to that of OA and OP, there was no effect on the results of the hip BMD and serum IGF Ⅰ. There consisted of positive correlation among the levels of serum IGF Ⅰ and the hip BMD and bmi. Conclusion: In our study, we agree with the hypothesis that OA and OP are two different diseases, there is an inverse relationship between them.
