封闭与开放──兼论居住小区的空间变化

Closeness and openness

居住小区的空间可以分为四个层次 逐步由私密向公共过渡 设计师应为这四个层次的空间提供不同的物业管理可能性笔者认为全封闭小区（特别是在城市中心区内）有碍于现代城市空间的完美 应予以淡化或缩小范围。

There should be four layers of spaces in residential quarters from privacy to openness. Designers should provide possibility for management of the four spaces in designing. The author thinks the close-type residential quarters (especially in central urban areas) are not good for urban image. They should not be emphasized and their scales should be small.
