电子期刊是数字化的连续出版物，具有极强的数据库检索功能，以其多种载体形式、方便使用而受到欢迎，是数字图书馆的重要数据源。电子期刊改变了传统图书馆的馆藏方式，构成数字图书馆的虚拟馆藏。电子期刊促进了文献资源的共建共享，构成了多元化信息资源，是数字图书馆的重要组成部分。
The electronic periodicals is the serials of digital. It has great database retrieval function and iswelcome for its varied media form and convenience. It is the main data resources of digital library and changesthe tradition collection way and forms viral library collection. It promotes literature resources' share andconstruction forms meta informaiton resources, is the important part of digital library.
