Recently, as a new comer Linux has arisen peoples interest, because of its good performance, stability, almost no cost and open source rules. But Linux support only a few peripheral equipments especially the printers. To resolve the difficulty of developing the printer driver for Linux, the paper analyze the architecture of Linux printing system and put forward a new way which can be used generally to develop a user space printer driver for Linux. Furthermore the paper bring forward a new architecture of Linux printing system which can resolve the problem in developing printer driver.
