Internet的异构性、大规模和不断变化等特性 ,使其成为一个典型的复杂系统 ,其中有许多复杂的建模和控制问题。介绍了 Internet业务流的自相似特性 ,综述了自相似业务流的数学建模、性能分析和控制策略等方面的研究进展 。

The heterogeneity, great size and rapid change of internet make it becomes a typical complex system consisting of many complex modeling and control problems. The self similarity nature of internet traffic is introduced. Research developments in mathematical modeling, performance analysis and control of self similarity traffic are reviewed. Some open problems and future research directions are also pointed out.
