The Frontier of AI--The Development of Agent Theory and Its Philosophy

本文从哲学及社会学、经济学的角度对计算机科学与人工智能的前沿领域———智能体(Agent)理论的发展及其哲理进行了分析与讨论 ,肯定了智能体研究在认识论与方法论上的进步及其系统论意义 ,特别对它导入社会智能而突破个体智能局限性的积极意义加以了肯定。对其尚未成熟的诸如智能体的博弈、效用、理性、规范及共同知识等论题进行了探讨并提出了自己的观点。

Adopting philosophical,so cial and economic viewpoints,the t hesis analyzes and discusses the ph ilosophy of Agent theory,the front research field of computer science and AI,thereby confirming the valu e of adopting a systematic viewpoi nt in Agent research,espcially tha t of the introduction of social in telligence to break the limits of individual intelligence,and confir ming the improvement of epistemolo gy and methodology in the research .The thesis also studies such expl oratory issues as the game?utility ?reason?norm and common knowledge of Agent and puts forward some new viewpoints.
