Environmental Safety of the Foreign Genes in Transgenic Plants

摘要 对转基因植中外源基因,包括目的基因和标记基因的环境安全性进行了系统的讨论。 Transgenic technology has heen effectively used for the imrovement of crop cultivars. A great amount of transgenic plants including corn and soybean have been released for commercial use in recent years. Transgenic plant is different from the traditional one in that the former contains foreign genes which leads to public con- cern. The environmental safety of foreign genes in transgenic plants has been disscussed in this paper.
