AutoCAD不能直接进行特征建模，二次高级开发工具ObjectARX的推出，为用户开发基于AutoCAD平台上的特征建模系统提供了一种强有力的解决方案。本文结合ObjectARX开发经验，以实例的方式介绍了如何利用ARX开发工具和系统资源，调用AcBr和AcGe类库访问和提取三维实体模型上的实体和子实体的几何信息的方法，说明了这两种类库在特征建模系统开发中的应用。

It is impossible to carry out feature-based modeling directly on AutoCAD, ObjectARX which is a second advanced development tool of AutoCAD.The articale offers a strong resolving scheme to build a feature-based modelnoling system on AutoCAD platform. Combining the ObjectARX development experience and using examples, This article introduces how to use ARX tool and system resources and how to call the AcBr and AcGe class libraries to access and extract the geometry information of the entity and sub-entities on a three dimensional part solid model ,also it explains the application of the two libraries on the development of the feature-based modelling system.
