人文教育重在培养“知行善合一”的精神品格——理工科大学生人文素质现状的调查与分析

The Focus of Humanity Education Is to Cultivate Integrated Morals of " Study-Practice-Goodness"──Investigation and analysis of the status quo of humanistic quality of science and engineering college students

人文素质是人文知识 (求知 )、人文精神 (求善 )与人文实践 (笃行 )的综合 ,是中华民族传统文化的基本精神 ,也是新世纪大学生应具备的优秀品质。根据调查 ,针对大学生自身人文素质的评价、人文精神的表现、人文实践的关注状况及其所表现出来的特征进行了辩证分析 ,并提出了高等院校开展相应的人文教育 ,重在培养大学生“知行善合一”的优秀品质的几点建议。

Humanistic quality is the integration of humanistic knowledge, humanistic spirit, and humanistic practice. It is not only the basic spirit of the traditional Chinese culture but also the excellent quality that modern college students must have. Based on the investigation on modern undergraduates, this paper carries out dialectic analysis on the evaluation of humanistic quality, the behaviors of humanistic spirit, and the attitude of humanistic practice. Besides, this paper also puts forward several suggestions as to how to promote humanistic education in colleges and universities.
