China Higher Education Must Undertake the Pressure from the Entry into WTO

从分析加入WTO对中国经济产生的影响入手 ,剖析了中国高等教育必须承受加入WTO带来的系列难题 ,指出高等教育必须深化改革 ,深刻认识高等教育与经济的关系 ,充分发挥大学为社会服务的功能 ,同时要深化办学体制改革特别是投资体制改革。

Based on the effects of the entry into WTO on Chinese economy, this paper analyses the difficult problems that China higher education must solve and points out that we must carry out deeper reform in higher education, realize the relationship between higher education and economy, bring the serving functions of universities in society into full play, cultivate talented people who are used to global economic situations, develop network-based remote education, develop higher institute run by local people, and improve the quality of higher institutes run by local people.
