Shrinkage Defect in Steel Casting Predicted by FEM Software

本文使用商品化有限元软件ProCAST模拟预测了铸钢件砂铸工艺中产生的宏观缩孔缺陷 ,并进行了相关的实验验证 ,发现铸件中确实存在模拟预测的宏观缩孔缺陷 。

The shrinkage defect of steel castings cast by sand molding process had been predicted using FEM software ProCast in this paper. The simulated result tallied well with actual cast experiment, and laid down a foundation for improving the cast technology of the steel castings.
