Thiazinone (Dao She Jing), developed by Shanghai Dong Feng Pesticides Factory, is an effective insecticides used mainly for killing rice hoppers. It is entirely possible to substitute conventional pesticides, such as carbamate. Its main advantages are less dosage, low toxicity and long validity. Its synthesis with phosgene as raw material is advanced, practicable and economical.
