We must understand the meaning of advanced social productivity correctly, which is of great and realistic significance for us to adhere to 'Three-represent' theory and to develop our production. The author holds that advanced social productivity is human capacity to sustain development which is the requirement of modern times. Science and technology are important methods to push advanced productivity forward and are the concrete means to show human capacity of sustainable development.
