In the interim when the type of user access network transfer fromTwisted cable to optical cable,a lots of broad band operation must be realized by twisted cable. The technologies of HDSL/ADSL,as a rapid and convenient transition method,could satisfied the users' demand for broad band operation.In this paper, the key technologies , basic structure and main applications for HDSL, ADSL and VDSL have been discussed.
