Interest rate liberalization is a financial reform. Instead of governments controling interest rate, in interest rate liberalization conditions, interest rate is devided by need and supply of market. Since 1970's, this reform has been carried out by some countries. From this practice, some countries benefited a lot while some others suffered a lot. Our country started to practice this program in 1996 which is a mile stone of financial reform. Interest rate liberalization will effect many economical factors but it emphasizes the influence of interest rate liberalization on deposition and investmetn.It introduces the conception of interest liberalization and the interest rate system situation of China. Besides,it suggests that a long term of minus interest rate has brought many negative effects to China. It studies the relationship among interest rate, deposition and investment. It focuses on the elasticity of interest rate and how interest rate influences deposition and investment. It also presents some suggests of liberalization in our country.
