Abstract : The volume of Whorehouse is a book about geisha girls in Yuan Dynasty, at the same time it is a significant work of Chinese traditional opera's theoretics. Its value is to put foward or reflect such matters as the social activities, classification, popularization in Southern China, the criteria of evaluation and living condition of the actors of zaju plays in Yuan Dynasty, which are required to give much more attention to.
