摘要
《边城》和《古都》是20世纪30年代两位不同国籍、不同民族、不同人生体验的著名作家的同题材作品。无论是诗化生活的描绘，还是艺术形象的塑造，都不约而同地表现出惊人的审美追求的相似，表现了著名作家共同的艺术敏感和类似的艺术表现方法。但相似中仍存在着差异：《边城》表现了作者沈从文对古老又“现代”的中国的深深的忧虑；《古都》表现的则是川端康成对当时日本民族文化心理的深深悲叹。
Abstract : Bian Cheng and Ancient Capital are the same subject matter written by two famous writers in 1930's who came from different countries and nationalities with different life experiences. They all show the amazing similarities on the pursuit of the beauty and the same artistic form of expression on both the description of poetic life and the creation of artistic characters. However, there are differences in the similarities : Bian Cheng displays the author's deep worries concerning the old and 'modern' China, while Ancient Capital shows the deep sign about the cultural psychology of the nationalities in Japan at that time.
