Treatment of Sulfide-Containing Wastewater by Catalytic Air Oxidation with Flocculating Manganese Suspension as Catalyst

摘要 探讨了一种快速降解含硫废水中硫化物的新方法。用可溶性二价锰盐在 p H为 10 .5~12 .0时曝气 ,制得絮状锰悬浊液催化剂。使用该催化剂可将废水中 S2 - 的氧化反应速率大为提高 ,反应时间大为缩短 ,S2 - 去除率几近 10 0 % ;同时还可大大降低废水的 COD,因此可大大降低生化处理系统的负荷。处理 S2 - 质量浓度为 5 0~ 2 0 0 0 mg/ L含硫废水的最佳工艺条件 :絮状锰悬浊液催化剂与废水的体积比为 0 .8~ 1.0 ,p H为 10~ 12 ,曝气量为 5 0 L / h左右 ,反应温度为 15~ 45℃。 A new process is proposed for fast degradation of sulfides in wastewater. Mn 2+ ions in solution is converted into floccules by aeration in pH 10.5~12.The solution used as a catalyst can obviously increase the oxidation reaction rate of S 2- in wastewater and shorten reaction time.The removal rate of S 2- can come up to almost 100% and the wastewater COD can be also reduced significantly. So the load of biological treatment system can be lightened. For treatment of wastewater containing 50~2000 mg/L of S 2- ,the optimum process conditions are as follows:volume ratio of 0.8~1.0 of flocculating manganese solution to wastewater,pH 10~12,aeration rate of 50 L/h,15~45℃. The catalyst can be recycled.
