摘要
提出了一种改进的视频点播(VOD)系统的播出方案,它可以大大减少点播所需的信道带宽及用户等待时间。同时具体介绍了改进的Harmonic方案,讨论了用户等待时间及带宽分配的确定方法,阐述了用户端存储量要求。
An improving broadcasting scheme for video-on-demand (VOD)service is presented. The bandwidth requirement and the viewer waiting time are greatly reduced. In the paper , an improving Harmonic scheme is introduced in detail,the viewer waiting time and the bandwidth location are discussed, and the memory at user terminal is described.
