摘要 全光波长转换器件是未来全光网的一个关键器件,可以广泛地用作为光开关、光交换、波长路由、波长再用等,从而使波分复用系统的管理更为灵活、合理、可靠。本文介绍全光波长转换的基本原理、特性及其研究进展。 All-optical wavelength converters ( AOWC) are expected to become one kind of very important devices in future optical communication networks. They may be put into extensive uses as optical -switch, optical-exchanger, wavelength conductor and wavelength re -applications. So, they make. the management of the WDM system more flexiblc, more convenient, and more reliable. In this paper the principles, performances of all- optical AOWC and progresses in technique states of the device developments are reviewed.
