The Relationship between the Art of Gandhara and the Image of Buddha’s Coming into being

被佛教视为与释迦牟尼同生的佛像艺术，原来是在释迦牟尼逝世后相当长时间里孕育产生的，它的诞生与欧洲古希腊的艺术有不可分割的渊源关系。本文就这一问题作了探讨。

In Buddhism, the image of Buddha appeared along with the birth of Sakyamuni. However ,the author thinks the art of the image of Buddha emerged long after the death of Sakyamuni and its appearance is closely connected with the ancient Greek art.
