本文分析和论述了侧插自熔阳极铝电解槽阳极锥体产生大尺寸掉块并形成纵向裂缝的原因,对此种病态阳极提出了一种行之有效的挽救处理方法。

The cause for the falling off of big size pieces from tapered anodewhich is self baked and side inserted into the aluminum electrolyzer andthe cause for forming longitudinal cracks in the anode are analysed and dis-cussed.A remedy for this defective anode is suggested.
