On the Aesthetics Space of the “Narcissus Plot” Tendency in Female Novel Writing in the 1990s

本文主要论证了20世纪90年代中后期女性小说创作中“水仙花情节”倾向。认为这种倾向恰恰有力地表现出女性作家正以独有的女性方式向男性话语体制、男性价值成规、男性权力发起挑战;用女性的身体和情欲去解构男权文化,并构筑女性创作的美学空间和文化空间。

This article expounds the positive effects of the 'narcissus plot' tendency in female novel writing in the late 1990s on female writing. It holds that this tendency strongly displays that women writers, through their unique ways,are making every effort to challenge male language system, 'male value system' and men's rights. They analyse & interpret the male-dominant culture through female body and sexual passion, and construct female writing's aesthetics space and cultural space.
