托吡酯治疗小儿癫32例

An Observation of the Effects of Topiramate in Treatment of Juvenile Epilepsy

目的 :评价托吡酯治疗小儿癫的疗效和安全性。方法 :3 2例癫患儿口服托吡酯 ,起始剂量为 0 .8～1.2mg·kg 1·d 1,qd或bid ,目标剂量为 4～ 9mg·kg 1·d 1,bid。随访时间为 3～ 9个月。结果 :托吡酯治疗小儿癫的总有效率 71.9% ,副作用较轻。结论 :托吡酯治疗小儿癫有较好的疗效 。

Objective:To evaluate the effects and safety of topiramate (Topamax) in treatment of juvenile epilepsy. Methods:Thirty two children (M 24, F 8) with epilepsy between the ages of 5 months and 11 years were treated with topiramate. The starting dosage was 0.8～1.2 mg·kg 1 ·d 1 , bid, and the target dosage 4～9 mg·kg 1 ·d 1 , bid. The follow up period ranged from 3 to 9 months. Results:The total effective rate of topiamate was 71.9% and the adverse effect was minor. Conclusion:Topiramate is effective for juvenile epilepsy, and well tolerated by the children.
