摘要
Acupuncture anesthesia is considered to be satisfactory in performing goiter excision. From May of 1995 to March of 2001,we conducted 130 cases of operations including thyrohyoid cyst, mixed tumor of parotid gland and double thyroid adenoma, etc.During operation, the patients accepted electroacupuncture [bilateral Hegu (LI 4) and Neiguan (PC 6)] anesthesia combined with small dose of Fentanyl (i.v, initial dose: 0.05 mg, 0.025~0.05 mg given if necessary) and Lidocaine (local muscular injection, 1%~2% 2 mL).Results showed that of the 130 cases, 99 responded with excellence, 29 with a good effect and 2 with poor effect. The excellent plus good rate was 98.46%.It suggests that acupuncture anesthesia for operations of the cervical diseases is satisfactory. But it should be noted that, muscular relaxation is not satisfied in acupuncture anesthesia, and if the mass is too big and too deep, acupuncture anesthesia may be not applicable.
