This paper introduced the existing problem of power generating culvert of Hutang reservoir.Based on the characteristic of the long culvert ,we analyzed and calculated the structure and overflowing capacity of the culvert .Combined with the regulation,we made an accessment on the structure security of the power generating culvert and put forword the treatment measurement and suggestion.
