Narration and Comment on Military River Crossing Conducted by Alexander the Great

亚历山大大帝的军渡活动至今未见专门论述。笔者用大量实例介绍了亚历山大在战争中以武装泅渡、船渡、皮筏渡、舟桥渡等众多渡河方式克服江河障碍的概况。并发现亚历山大已通过军渡活动达成了维持战略目标、保障军队安全、维系战术机动、创造进攻态势、提供奇袭机会等一系列“军事原则”。

Up till now, there is no special written comment on military river crossing conducted by Alexander the Great. With a great number of examples, the author gives an account of how Alexander overcame obstacles of crossing rivers by means of swimming across fully armed, boat crossing, skin raft crossing, bridge of boats crossing during the wars. Alexander reached a series of 'military principles' such as maintaining strategic objective target, assuring military security, retaining flexible tactics, creating attacking state, providing an opportunity to raid and so on.
