This paper first presents architecture,protocol layers and channel structure for packet data transmission in third generation cellular network WCDMA.Mobile IP support in WCDMA is discussed then.With efficient support of Mobile IP in cellular networks,seamless integration of cellular networks with the Internet is expected at a rapid pace.
