Mind Emancipation and Thought Innovation

解放思想与思维创新皆建立于实事求是的基础之上 ,其目标具有一致性。但解放思想重在“破” ,而思维创新重在“立” ,前者是后者的先决条件 ,后者是前者的直接结果。只有在解放思想的前提下创新思维 ,才能有效地推动思维的发展 ,达到真正的思想解放。在创新的社会环境条件下 ,思维创新当为一切创新之基础 ,应关注理论创新和技术创新 ,高扬创新意识和创新精神 ,增强创新能力 ,加强创新人才的培育 ,形成良好的创新氛围。

Both mind emancipation and thought innovation are based on seeking truth from facts, with the objectives being the same. But mind emancipation attaches importance to 'break' while thought innovation lays stress on 'establish'. The former is the precondition of the latter and the latter is the direct consequences of the former. Only on the condition of mind emancipation, can the mind innovation carry forward the mind development effectively to obtain the real emancipation. On the condition of social innovation, the thought innovation is the basis of all. So much attention should be paid to theory and technology innovation. Innovation consciousness and spirit should be boosted. Innovation ability should be strengthened. Innovation talents should be trained on a large scale. And in short, innovation atmosphere is supposed to be created.
