摘要
研究了芯区和包层的非线性介电常数具有相同形式 ε∝ |E|δ的光波导 ,其中 E为本地电场强度 ,δ可以为任意正数。结果表明 ,在适当的光强下有 5种结构芯区电场分布可以变为均匀场 ,而且强非线性的介质有利于在较低光功率下产生均匀的芯区场。 δ=2时 (Kerr型介质 ) 。
Three layer slab optical waveguide for which the nonlinear permittivity of film and claddings take the same form ε∝|E| δ,where E is the local electric field intensity,and δ can be an arbitrary positive number,has been analyzed to find out the structures in which the core electric field profile can become uniform at appropriate optical power.It is shown that there are five kinds of such structures,and medium with stronger nonlinearity is beneficial for occurrence of uniform core field profile at a lower optical power.For Kerr like media,i.e.,δ=2,the results are identical to our previous work.
