摘要
改革开放以来 ,我国先后向 1 0 0多个国家和地区派出留学生 30多万人 ,其中有 1 0余万人已学成归国。在新的历史时期 ,留学生和留学生工作也呈现出一些新的特点 ,充分调动归国人员的积极性 ,争取和吸引更多留学人员报效祖国 ,并做好留居海外新侨民的工作 ,使他们更好地为我国经济建设服务 。
In the new period of history there appear some new characteristics in the returned students and the work about them.it is new task for us to bring their initiatives into full play;to attract more of the students studying abroad to return to and work for their motherland;and to do a better work among the overseas Chinese so that they will serve China's economic construction.
