In this paper a new root locus equation-polar root locus equation is described.Its expression is succinct,and its calculation is much simpler than the general algebraic root locus equation and thereby,the difficulty was largely reduced in building the root locus equation by analysis.The operations of both polar equation and algebraic equation were compared,and the method of changing polar equation to algebraic equation is advanced.
