摘要
太平天国的上帝教不是邪教。这是因为 :1.邪教崇拜的多为现世的活人 ,而上帝教是引进的基督教 ,崇拜的中心是上帝 ;2 .邪教一般只关心本人、本教的利益 ,而上帝教则是一个关心大众命运的宗教 ;3 .邪教具有反人类的特征 ,而上帝教从来没有让信徒危害自己的生命 ,太平天国努力追求的是建立一个平等祥和幸福的人间天堂 ;4.邪教极端强调本教利益及个人利益 ,为此不惜抛弃人伦亲情 ,而上帝教则遵从人类既定的人伦常理 ;5 .邪教鼓动信徒不惜牺牲今生的生命去换得所谓来世的幸福 ,而上帝教则正确地处理了现世与来世的关系。否定太平天国。
The Shangdi Jiao (Religion of Worshipping God) professed by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom is not a heresy. This viewpoint of the author is justified as follows: 1. What the heretics worship is but a living human, and yet Shangdi Jiao was an imported Christianity, they worshipped God; 2. The heretics cares only personal and factional welfare, but Shangdi Jiao took care of the broad masses of the people; 3. Heresy is characterized by anti humanity, while Shangdi Jiao never encouraged its followers to endanger their own lives, and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom sought to establish paradise on earth, wherein everyone could enjoy peace and happiness; 4. Heresy emphasizes to the extremely personal and factional interests and for this purpose tends to abandon human relations, even family affections, but Shangdi Jiao followed the principles of human relationships; 5. Heresy instigates its followers to sacrifice their present life in exchange for the so called afterlife happiness, and yet Shangdi Jiao dealt in a proper manner the relationship between this life and afterlife. Hence historians should pay attention to and retrospect the tendency to negate the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the view that its religion is heresy.
