The Geographical Distribution of the Historical Figures in the Southern Dynasty and Its Cause

南朝四代历史人物的地域分布特点如下 :虽然各朝分布的省区数量比较接近 ,但每省区拥有的人物数量却极不均衡 ,更为突出者 :各朝的人数分布呈明显的高聚集性特征 ;具体到各省区 ,其人物大体上都是以零星分布为主 ,仅少数地区呈密集型分布。造成这种差异的原因有家族政治地位、区域文化、移民等重要因素 ,也与区域政治、经济控制的加强有关。据此可知 ,南朝四代政治力量地域分布的特点是 :南方政治力量不断上升 。

The characteristics of the regional distribution of the historical figures of four generations in the Southern Dynasty are as the following:Although the absolute number of the provinces and regions were similar,the number of the historical figures in each province and region was quite different from one another.What is more evident is that every generation showed its apperently intensive distribution of those figures .However,as far as each province mentioned above is concerned,its historical figures were distributed sporadically and only a few areas showed their intensive distribution.The regional differences can be attributed to family political power,regional culture,immigration and the reinforcement of regional politics and economic control.It can be concluded that,the south showed its increasing tendency in political power,but the political power of the south was always weaker than that of the north.
