“五霸”之说历来纷繁 ,前人以为有“三代五霸”与“春秋五霸”之别。实际上 ,任何一个“五霸”说都不是以某一标准 (如主持盟会、天子赐伯等 )可以归集的 ,“五霸”的概念是随着时间的变化而不断发展变化的 。

There have been different versions of 'the five powerful chiefs'.Predecessors thought there existed 'the five powerful chiefs of the Three Dynasties' and 'the five powerful chiefs of the Spring and Autumn Period'.In fact,any version was not concluded according to one certain standard.The concept of 'the five powerful chiefs' changes with the change of the times.It is a dynamic concept.
