A chemicals survey and analysis in Guangzhou factories

目的 了解本区域化学品分布情况 ,探讨化学品管理规范以有效控制其危害。方法 邮寄与现场相结合调查本市 663家工厂化学品存在与分布。结果 本区域目前常见的化学品有 10 0种以上 ,43 .4%的工厂存在 1种以上化学品 ,未有毒性分级的化学品占 3 8.7%。不同毒性级别、不同毒物类型化学品的构成及其在不同行业、不同经济类型工厂中的分布均具统计学差异。结论 必须加强化学品登记、毒性鉴定与危险度评价等工作。

Objective To find out the distribution of local chemicals and explore their management norm ,so as to control their hazards effectively. Methods 663 factories in Guangzhou were surveyed by mail and /or interview. Results There were more than 100 kinds of common chemicals in Guangzhou factories at present. 43.4% of the total factories existed 1 or more kinds of chemicals. 38.7% of their toxicity grades was still unknown. The proportions of chemicals among toxicity grades or poison types were significantly different. So were they in factories of different industries and different economic types. Conclusion It seemed to be necessary to strengthen the registration of chemicals, toxic identification,risk estimation, etc. It could be getting more regular and perfect for the management of chemicals through the cycle of enrolling, setting record, evaluating, publishing,educating,supervising and self managing.
