秋水仙碱治疗晚期血吸虫病30例临床和病理变化

COLCHICINE IN THE TREATMENT OF LATE CASES OF SCHISTOSOMIASIS JAPONICA

本文报告用秋水仙碱治疗晚期血吸虫病30例的临床和病理变化.结果如下:(1)治疗组病人临床征象有明显好转;(2)治疗前后5例肝活组织检查,治后光镜下肝细胞肿胀、水样变性明显好转,肝窦被动性压迫改善;(3)20例服药前后的血尿弪脯氨酸(Hyp)值动态呈明显统计学差异。(4)全部治疗组患者无明显药物反应。

A double blind controlled trial of colchicine treatment in 30 late cases of schistosomia-sis japonica with 10 controls was conducted.Clinical and laboratory findings and liver hi- opsy were evaluated before and after treatment.The results indicated that the colchicinetreated patients were clinically improved with bleeding tendebcy subsided,abdominal distentiondisappeared,appetite and body weight increased.Blood albumin levels were gradually in-creased,plasma and urinary hydroxyproline values showed significant changes.Liver biopsyafter treatment revaled histologic improvement;cloudy swelling and hydropic de-generation of the liver cells subsided,cell size restored to normal and passive compression ofsinusoid relieved.Based on the above data,it is concluded that the liver fibrosis of schisto-somiasis could be modified by antifibrotic drug,colchicine.Daily dose of colchicine 1 mgis efficacious and safe.
