With the development of industrial textile composites,the requirements on the biaxial warp knitted fabrics are becoming stricter and stricter,especially the conformability of it is concerned.The authors have developed quite a new knitting machine to produce a noval multi layered biaxial weft knitted fabric.This paper introduces in detail the structure and characteristics of this kind of fabric,and stresses on its knitting principle and the related machine structure.The application of this kind of fabric is also presented in brief.
