翻译中的语境问题——从语境分析角度谈英汉翻译

On Language Environment in Translation——A Talk on English Chinese Translation from the Viewpoint of Language Environment Analysis

语言交际必须切合语言环境 ,任何言语活动的进行总是离不开特定的时间、场合、人物和方式。在翻译中 ,译者除了要考虑原语本身的语言因素外 ,还必须重视非语言因素对语言表达的制约作用。翻译离不开语境分析 ,如果忽略原语赖以产生的特定语境去进行翻译 ,则往往会导致误译。本文旨在通过对某些误译例子的辨析 ,谈谈如何在翻译中进行语境分析 ,以阐明语境因素在翻译中的重要作用。

Language communication should agree with language environment. Information can not be effectively extracted from a discourse unless the audience considers the specific time, place, character, and mode. In translation, besides considering the elements of the target language, we should lay stress on the non language elements which have a conditioned function on the discourse. So, without the analysis of alnguage enviroment, it will lead to false translation. Presenting some examples of false translations, this article will show how to make a language environment analysis in translation, and aims at convincing the readers of the importance of language environment elements.
