山东昆嵛山蛙属林蛙群一新种(两栖纲:无尾目:蛙科)

A NEW WOOD-FROG OF THE GENUS RANA IN MT.KUNYU, SHANDONG PROVINCE,CHINA (AMPHIBIA:ANURA:RANIDAE)

在山东省胶东半岛昆嵛山采集到林蛙类及其蝌蚪标本 ,与中国林蛙Rahachensinensis具背侧褶弯曲等特征极相似 ,但有以下主要区别 :无声囊 ,无雄性线 ,雄性第 1指婚垫分 2团 ,蝌蚪唇齿式多为Ⅰ :1 1/Ⅲ ,少数为Ⅰ :1 1/Ⅱ :1 1。此蛙与已知林蛙其它种有明显区别 ,故定为新种 ,即昆嵛林蛙Ranakunyuensissp .nov .。

Scince 1997 several herpetological surveys were carried out in Mt.Kunyu,Shandong Province.Some frogs belonging to the wood-frog group of the genus Rana were collected.After detail examination and comparison with closely related species,it was recognized as a new form to science.The new form is described in Chinese text and an English diagnosis is given below.Rana kunyuensis sp.nov. (Figs.1-5)Holotype No.YT980601 adult male;type locality:Mt.Kunyu,Jiaodong Peninsula,Shandong Province (37°17′N,121°37′E);altitude 400*!m,16 June 1997. Allotype No.YT970601,adult female;collected from the same locality as the holotype,13 June 1998.Paratypes 4,3;altitude 200*!m,collected in Mt.Kunyu in June of both 1998 and 1999.A lot of tadpoles were collected from the same place of the holotype in Apr.2000.Diagnosis.This new species is similar to Rana chensinensis David,but differs from the latter in the following respects:1)no vocal sac in the new species,while Rana chensinensis having paired internal subgular vocal sac;2)no linea masculina in male of the new species,while linea masculina existing in male of Rana chensinensis;3)nuptial pad of the first finger of the new species dividing into 2 patches,the proximal one smaller than the distal one,while that of Rana chensinensis dividing into 4 patches,the proximal two larger than the distal two patches;4)labial-teeth formula of tadpoles of the new species mostly Ⅰ:1-1/Ⅲ;while that of Rana chensinensis mostly Ⅰ:3-3/Ⅲ:1-1 or Ⅰ:2-2/Ⅲ:1-1.The type specimens of Rana kunyuensis are preserved in the Department of Life Sciences and Technology,Yantai Normal University,Yantai,Shandong Province.
