Selection of the dewatering process for gas sludge from ferromanganese smelting furnaces was presented. The environmental problem of ferromanganese sludge's flowing outside over a long period of time was solved since it adopted the process of treating the gas sludge from the ferromanganese smelting furnaces with box filter presses.
