离体作物育种的进展

摘要 近年来,生物技术的发展如愈伤组织的培养,花药和花粉粒培养,胚培养、原生质体融合以及改进植物遗传组成的分子途径等,这些离体培养技术日将发展成为植物育种的重要辅助手段。本文就离体生物技术在作物育种上应用的可能性进行了综述。 Advances in plant breeding undoubtedly are one of the major factors contributing to the success ih agriculture in recent history.The standard method used in plant breeding has been based oft genetic recombination through sexual cross.Although plant breeding has produced many im-proved crop plants,there is certain limitation to this approach.Inrecent years the use of plant tissue cultrue techniques,e.g.,callus culture,cell suspen- sion culture,anther and pollen culture,embryo cuture,protoplast fusion and molecular approaches to altering,plant genotypes-to assist p-lanttbve- eding has been axplored and the results appear to be promising.This aricle is a survey of some of the possible uses of plant tissue culture techniques in plant breeding.
