基于SGI的多媒体创作工具的设计与实现

摘要 本文针对SGI图形工作站的特点,论述了基于SGI平台的多媒体创作工具AUTHOR的系统构造及其关键技术的实现。在媒体对象的同步中,采用时间流Petri网(TSPN)模型表示媒体数据流的同步、互斥等关系,用该模型结合“自上而下、逐步求精”的软件设计方法,描述了复杂多媒体表示系统中的媒体表示方案。 According to features of Silicon Graphics workstations, the paper dissertates mainly the system construction and the key technique of multimedia authoring tool AUTHOR based on SGI platform. In the synchronization of media objects, the author adopts the time stream Petri net (TSPN) model to express the synchronization and mutual exclusion relations of the media data stream. Using the model and the software design method called 'from top to bottom,refinement step by step' it describes the media express scheme of complex multimedia system.
