摘要
数据仓库开发者需要解决的设计问题中最重要的是数据仓库中的粒度确定,当数据仓库的粒度合理确定后,设计和实现的其它问题就会非常容易地解决,相反如果没有合理地确定粒度的话,就会影响其他每个方面。文中讨论了确定粒度时应该考虑的因素,确定方法。
The most important thing of all design problems that developer of data warehouse needs to resolve is the determination of the data granularity. After the granularity is determined appropriately, other issues concerning with design and implementation can be solved easily. Other wise, other aspects will be influenced. Factors that will be considered during the determining of granularity are introduced,and the method used to determine granularity is proposed in the paper.
