胆绿素在中性、弱酸性或弱碱性甲醇溶液中,可以和亚硫酸氢钠反应生成黄色加成产物。经核磁共振氢谱、质谱、红外光谱、吸收光谱等鉴定,它的结构为10-磺酸钠胆红素。它具有与胆红素完全不同的性质。
Sodium bisulfite can be added to the central methine bridge of biliverdin in neutral, acidic or alkaline methanol and give a yellow product, which based on structural determination proves to be bilirubin-10-sulfonate. The adduct has different properties from those of bilirubin.
