Eco-environmental construction and sustainable development in Beijing

以水为中心进行生态环境建设是北京建设现代化和生态型城市的重要途径。在总结 北京市生态建设的成就和分析现实存在问题的基础上，提出了北京建设生态型城市在水利方 面要达到的目标、工作任务以及要妥善处理好的四个关系。

Water conservancy is a central task in Beijing's eco-environmental con struction and considered as an important way of realizing modernization and fine ecological environment in Beijing. This paper summarizes the achievement that h as been made in Beijing's eco-environmental construction as well as the existin g problems encountered. And then,the objectives and tasks involved in water cons ervancy are discussed with the emphasis placed on four relationships that should be carefully identified in Beijing's eco-environmental construction.
