THE PROTECTION OF NEW VARIETIES OF PLANT AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF MODERN CITY AGRICULTURAL BREEDING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

回顾了我国及上海市的植物新品种保护工作 ,就我国的植物新品种保护制度与都市型现代农业育种科技进步的关系进行了探讨 ,提出都市型现代农业的种子种苗行业的发展需要植物新品种保护 ,也要求加强植物新品种保护的研究工作 ;植物新品种保护制度的实行 ,为都市型现代农业的种子种苗产业发展提供了新机遇 ,都市型现代农业育种科技的进步 。

The work of new plant varieties protection in local Shanghai and the whole country was reviewed, and the relationship between the system of new plant varieties protection and the modern city agricultural breeding technology advancement was probed. The development of modern city agricultural seed and seedling business needing the protection of new varieties of plant and also needing to enhance and improve researches on the protection of new varieties of plant were set forth. Putting protection of new varieties of plant into practice has provided new opportunities for the development of modern city agricultural seed and seedling business, and the progress of modern city agricultural breeding technology has raised high requirement for carrying out the protection of new varieties of plant.
